let's set sail...

the sun rises
the sun sets.
across the ocean
water jets.
here she comes
down the sea
by the dock
here comes me.
i look close
there she is
beau-ti-ful
as can be...
what a ship
look at her sail
i'm in love
she never fails.
the horn sound
startles me
i jump in
now we flee.
i look left
she looks right
my co-captain
her dark-knight.
as we soar
through the wind
her hair flows
i give in.
take her hand
looks at me.
now we're anchored
lost at sea.
body of water
green sea weed
alone with her
is all i need.
so then i look
into her eyes
then at her lips,
and to my surprise.
she moved in
and so did i
our lips touched
tensions rise.
she takes my hand
and before i know
candles lit
i'm like, whoa!

as we finish
our own game
we got dressed
blew out flames.
we're no longer
anchored at sea
does that mean...
she's "with" me?
our encounter
felt so real
not a dream
nor a tale.
we sail back
then she cries
i wipe her tear
then ask her why?
she says that i
wasn't her "guy"
that she's wrong
she's living a lie.
so then i said
it's okay
just think of it as
a brand new day.
she cries more
i take her hand
then tell her to
just leave her man.
i should be
the one she's with
live no more lies
live without regrets.
so then i kiss her
one more time
and told her to
just be mine.
leave him now
just let him know
you knew it was "me"
since our first "hello"
so she smiled
cute as can be.
hugged me tight
she felt free.
this is how
my story ends
as you might know
it's all pretend.
but there is a "her"
there is a "she"
will Friday be the day...
